Morfydd Clark talks about the Lord of the Rings TV series, where she plays Galadriel.

The Welsh actress has dared to reveal some secrets in an interview for NME about the long-awaited series of The Lord of the Rings produced by Amazon and scheduled for broadcast in 2021 despite the setbacks caused by the coronavirus crisis.

Crisis restrictions took her by surprise during the filming and she had to go into lockdown with her film mates in New Zealand, away from her family and friends. Still, she tries to be positive and says that the time and experiences she has spent with her new companions will be reflected on screen, although she fears that the difference in the scenes filmed before and after the quarantine would be noticed by the viewers.

She also ensures that the production of the series is incredible, up to Marvel’s standards, with lots of people working to make everything perfect.

Morfydd Clark also commented that she would love to work with Elijah Wood (Frodo Baggins in the Lord of the Rings films), who confirmed to IndieWire that he would be happy to make a cameo for the new Amazon series.
